Privacy and data handling
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to delete
Last updated: July 16, 2026. This notice applies to alignedinsights.ai and the free tools, forms, uploads, and client portal operated by Aligned Insights LLC.
What we collect
- Contact and church details: name, email, phone, role, church or business name, budget range, and notes you choose to provide.
- Tool answers and results: answers submitted to assessments, calculators, policy and job-description generators, and the results those tools create.
- Financial uploads: ledgers, balance sheets, budgets, file names, and related intake details submitted for a Church Savings Report.
- Basic site analytics: page visited, referring site, date, country, coarse city/region, and a short daily visitor code made from IP address and browser information. We do not store the raw IP address in our analytics record.
- Client-portal records: account identity, organization membership, project updates, work items, and documents used to deliver paid work.
How we use it
We use submitted information to create the result you requested, deliver and improve that service, contact you about the request, secure and operate the site, understand which pages are useful, and deliver client work. We do not sell personal information or use financial uploads for advertising.
Where it goes
Aligned Insights and Ryan Coggins receive form and upload notifications. We use service providers only to operate and deliver the service:
- Vercel hosts the site and private Blob storage, including financial uploads, tool submissions, and analytics events.
- Resend delivers confirmation, result, and operator-notification emails.
- ntfy may deliver a brief operator push notification when configured.
- Supabase stores and authenticates client-portal accounts, memberships, engagement records, and portal documents.
- Anthropic may process public website content for the optional visibility analysis; do not submit private records through a website URL.
- Cal.com processes information you provide when you follow a booking link.
These providers process information under their own terms and security practices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
Storage, security, and retention
- Financial uploads: stored in private Vercel Blob storage and used only to prepare and deliver the report. They are scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days, including incomplete uploads. You may request earlier deletion.
- Analytics: analytics events are kept for up to 90 days; cleanup is best-effort and runs from the operator dashboard.
- Lead and tool submissions: currently have no fixed automatic expiration. We keep them while needed to deliver the result and manage follow-up, and delete them on a verified request or when no longer needed.
- Client records: kept during the engagement and afterward when reasonably needed for delivery, security, accounting, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
- Email and push delivery records: retained according to the delivery provider's settings and policies.
We use private storage, short-lived file links, authenticated operator/client areas, and access controls. No internet service can promise perfect security. Please do not upload or submit information that is not needed for the requested service.
Your choices and deletion requests
You may ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or request deletion by emailing ryan@alignedinsights.ai. Include the church or business name, the email used, and the tool or upload involved. We may verify your identity before acting and may retain information when legally required or necessary to protect the service.
